Garlic Chilli Prawns

Super easy both ways so take your pick! The only other thing you'll need to decide is whether or not to share!

Feeds 2 as Entree

Ingredients - The Best Way

  • 400g Green Prawns, Peeled, De-Veined, then cut in half, length ways
  • 2 Clove of Garlic, finely chopped or micro grated
  • 1 Long Red Chilli or 2 birdseye Chilli, seeded & finely chopped.
  • 1 Tablespoon of continental parsley (flat leaf), roughly chopped
  • ½ cup of good Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt and Pepper
  • A Crusty Baguette or Italian Ciabatta

Ingredients - The Easy Way

  • 250g pre-peeled green prawns, then cut in half, length ways
  • 2 tablespoons of Minced Garlic
  • A Big Pinch of Chilli Flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon of continental parsley (flat leaf), roughly chopped
  • ½ cup of good Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt and Pepper
  • A Crusty Baguette or Italian Ciabatta

Method - Both Ways

Heat the pan to a medium - high heat and then add the olive oil, chilli and garlic. Cook for 1 minute then throw in the prawns. Toss well to coat the prawns in the oil etc and cook for a further 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and throw in the parsley and add a little bit of salt and pepper. Stir to combine.

To Serve, divide prawns into the 2 bowls and serve with a fork and the crusty bread!

EAT.
